It was easy, since he was taller than her. And it was even easier since he had a burning urge to return the teasing that was given to him on the first day that they had met. His lips barely connected with the skin at the nape of the girl’s neck, but he knew that it was enough to send shivers down the spine of any unknowing victim. “If I had the intention to kill– You would be dead now.” But his blood lust has gone down considerably ever since he got into this universe–that was probably because he wasn’t allowed to fight.
”There are many reasons why it isn’t alright for someone like you to waltz in here. If you perform any of those fire things or you summon a beast you will be put on trial if you’re lucky. Worst case scenario is that you would be killed because you would be considered a threat. I thought you didn’t want to help out humanity. What made you change your mind?”
“Killed? Me? By who exactly, I’d like to meet the person. I’ve been looking for someone who can match my abilities for some time. I thought that my brother–who killed our clan in merely a night might so some good–and now he’s dead.”
“You do know that if you’re caught on these grounds you will be brought in and questioned, right? If you mention you know me, you won’t be the only one in trouble. I can’t deal with more reasons for me to be punished, Shinobi.”
“Why do they care, if someone’s helping–in your situation, I think you should be willing to accept it, Soldier.”
”You again? What are you doing here? You’re not supposed to be here. No one other than those of the survey corps are allowed on these grounds and you made it quite clear last time that you had no plans of helping us, Shinobi.”
“Whoever said that it wouldn’t be convenient for me to kill them for my own sake? If they tried to attack me in particular, I would have no other choice but to defend myself which is a win for both of us.”
“What the–…” That was probably the first thought when he found himself in front of this big, human-like thing that was walking towards him–and fast. He didn’t know whether he was in danger or not, but when it reached down for him, he began running and jumping from tree to tree until he reached a big wall that was apparently broken. Up ahead was yet another huge wall that seemed intact so–he could guess that was where he was going. There was some distance between the two walls, but the shinobi had no trouble whatsoever in crossing it even when those huge things were pretty quick as well. He could see that no one was living in those houses over these, but that didn’t give him much time to think anyway. When he crossed over the second wall, he saw signs of clear life, and upon reaching the bottom of the wall–by walking on it, he even saw people. Down, right in front of him was a short man and a woman–but what could he even say?
”No! At first I wanted nothing more to do with you than just to mess with you but you had a point and what you were describing sounds like it could help humanity out. I never asked for your help. You were the one who offered. Tch. Just… forget about it. We don’t need your shinobi help anyways. We can do fine with our secret weapon.”
"Oh, but the things that I was speaking of– I am positive that they would be of great help to your humanity. However, if no one is willing to help, then it’s useless, no?“
